The crowning element of the Obelisk in Gioberti square has been redesigned with an elliptical basin (which absorbs the geometric and perspective inhomogeneities of the square), a sort of “mirror” and a 3 cm “veil of water”, which recalls the taste of the Estes for water games.
The basin has a cantilevered edge on the floor, made up of the juxtaposition of VUD03 high-performance concrete ashlars, in river white colour, completely smoothed and anti-graffiti treated, which acts as a seat, creating a space for rest and contemplation in the center of the square.
